Ariano Irpino, Italy- Final Presentation of Products/Services
- From the 14th to the 18th December 2020 the last mobility of the project has taken place in the RUGGERO II institute. Due to the COVID 19 world pandemic, the teams agreed to have a virtual mobility. It has been a challenge for all of us but above all for our school to plan virtual activities which could involve students and teachers for so many hours a day. All the teams collaborated in organizing things and all students made their best to have online materials ready. The coordinators agreed to use GOOGLE MEET for the online meetings. The agenda for each day included both oral and practical/interactive activities about the final phases of the whole project.
- On the first day, after a welcoming ceremony (where coordinators and headmasters made their greetings and presented their teams), we presented some videos our students prepared about our town and our school, in order to let others teams know us.
In the second part of the day, we had a CLIL lesson on business plan and Break-even point held by Mr Roberto Cardinale: after some important information about the topic, students and teachers were involved in interactive exercises. Last, we played KAHOOT games about economics. - The second day started with some videos about Social Entrepreneurships. Then an external expert gave us a lesson about PUBLIC SPEAKING, with very interesting and useful tips on how to have a job interview or on how to persuade clients to buy some products. Finally, we built a multilingual dictionary about Social Entrepreneurship.
- On the third day each team presented his own business plan. Students showed us their works, explaining what they had planned. Then we had debates on the six business plans, with lots of interesting questions by all students. At the end of this phase, we had a contest to choose the best business plan among the six presented by the various teams. Teachers and students voted using google platform. The winner was the one prepared by the Turkish team: “AQUA”. Mrs Daniela Rotaru gave us a CLIL lesson about Social Entrepreneurship on the fourth day: the lesson was very involving, full of interactive exercises for students. They all participated with enthusiasm and commitment. Then each team presented some famous social entrepreneurs from his own country.
- The last day saw another lesson held by an external expert about PUBLIC SPEAKING, centred on how to behave when speaking in front of an audience: after the oral lesson, students were involved in some exercises of public speaking. At the end of the lesson, we had some interactive games. Finally, there were the final greetings. The virtual mobility, notwithstanding the new, unusual layout, has been successful. All the teams showed interest and commitment. Students have always been very attentive, interested, ready to cooperate and participate in all activities, both before and during the mobility. There has been a factual collaboration among all the teams, and this is the best result of the whole project: we could see how we managed in creating a great team through these two years of collaboration, made up of teachers who are able to work together to achieve a common final goal. But above all it was great to see how good our students were, how they had understood the real aim of these ERASMUS projects: cooperating and becoming part of a unique team. They were always smiling, friendly, excited. It was like we were all together, and not separated by thousands of kilometres and by cold PC screens.
- We could “touch” the atmosphere these projects always create even if we weren’t together. Moving as always. And the Italian team was honoured to “host” such wonderful people. We thank all the people who worked to the good realization of the mobility.
